What are the three keys to having a super abundant, happy and fulfilling life? You’re going to love this…
When we make our lives happy, fulfilled and blissful, we help everybody that we come into contact with do the same thing. It doesn’t make sense if you’re having a miserable or average day that you think you can help someone to have a great day, right? The only way we can ever help someone else to be happy, healthy, wealthy and successful is for us to be happy, healthy, wealthy and successful ourselves first. We get to show others that it’s possible by showing them the way, and we actually know the way because we’ve been on the journey ourselves.
Calvin Coolidge, the 30th president of the USA, said, “…the world is full of educated derelicts.” You see, everybody knows what to do; most people aren’t doing what they know. And it’s in the doing that we develop, not in the knowing. For example, everybody knows that if you want to be in better shape you need to exercise regularly and eat well as a regime. Everybody knows this, yet 65% of people around the world are overweight and out of shape. See, we all know it but we’re not doing it! It’s in the doing that we produce the results.
So the first key to having a blissfully happy life with wealth and abundance, being in top health and fitness, achieving your grand dream goals, having a magical relationship with the partner of your dreams (and yes, if you’re in a relationship that can still be with the one you’re with and make it more magical!) is:
1. MAKE A DECISION. Not an “I hope…”. Not an “I wish…”. Not an “I should…”. Most people end up ‘shoulding’ all over themselves! Should is never powerful enough to make you want to change. Think about it: has there ever been a time in your life when you told yourself that you should do something and you still didn’t do it? Has there ever been a time in your life when you told yourself that you shouldn’t do something but you went and did it anyway?
A decision is a must. “I have to do this.” “I’m not backing down.” “I am doing this.” Not, “I am going to do this.” I am doing this.
If you say, “I am going to do this…” basically you’re saying, “I’m not doing it now”, and your brain sees the image of you not doing it now, and maybe doing it in the future. And your brain is going to keep producing what it consistently sees in the image of your mind. So if you keep seeing the change happening in the future instead of ‘the now’ it’s kind of like holding a stick with a carrot hanging off the end – no matter where you walk the carrot stays the same distance away from you. So you have to start seeing yourself in your mind doing it right now.
So we have to make the decision – I am changing. And in order for things to change, I must change first. That’s what you need to be saying. The world isn’t going to change. I must change first.
2. COMMIT. You have to be committed to the decision you make. So everyday throughout the day, you need to stand yourself up and say, “I must change first.” It’s the only way the world around you is going to change – if you change. Because everything we see on the outside world is nothing more than a reflection of what we see in our internal world. And when we start changing the way we look at the world, the world we’re looking at will change. When we start changing the way we look at the people in our life, the people we look at will change. And yes, the first thing you need to change is us, because when we change we’ll change the way we look at things, we change the way we participate in things, and we change the results we produce. It’s cause and effect. Every cause creates an effect. Every action creates a certain result.
Be committed to your decision. Everyday that you put it on the backburner, and you don’t get to it, it gets further away from your consciousness and it loses more and more enthusiasm and momentum. Pretty soon it goes on the pile of dreams that you never got to. And it doesn’t end there because throughout your life you’re going to feel the pain of those dead dreams of those decisions that you didn’t follow through on. And at the end of your life you’re going to have a massive amount of regret. Remember that however you leave this life is how you start the next one.
3. BE CONSISTENT. It’s not what you do once in a while that counts, it’s what you do consistently. No one works out once and becomes buffed for the rest of their life! We have to be consistent with working on personal development. And by personal development I’m not just talking about motivation and positive thinking, although those are valuable tools, but they’re not the only tools. Personal development means you’re developing your person into becoming a more developed version of yourself. And that new evolution of you, that more evolved version of yourself, will think new thoughts you’ve never thought before, and in a way that you’ve never thought before. Then you’ll act in a way that you’ve never done before and do things in a way you’ve never done before, and that will always produce new results that you’ve never had before. Make sense, right?
When would now be the right time to make that decision? Right now? Good answer! Make the decision right now. “I’m changing my life” or “I’m changing my financial situation.”
Importantly, we want to fulfil all the areas of our experience – mind, body and spirit. Those are the 3 areas that need to be fulfilled on a regular basis, and you want to be working on all those 3 areas and evolving in each of them. And if one of those areas are lacking, well that means that’s not a holistically fulfilled life.
Think of the body for a moment… do things that feel good for the body and that feel pleasurable! Don’t think that giving those things up will make you more spiritual. We’re feeling creatures, so to rob us of those things that make us feel good – well that’s a sin!
And we can’t just focus on the body and think that will fulfil us. Think of the mind now. Evolving your mind through education not only improves your own life but what you can do on the planet to make this world a better place. It takes wealth to go have experiences that evolve the mind, like go to university, undertake courses, travel around the world…yes, some experiences do cost more money! And remember that wealthy people can do the experiences poor people can, yet poor people can’t do the experiences wealthy people can. So as you see, wealth gives you choices, and more choices give you freedom. And that’s what we want – more freedom!
Spirit is self-love. It’s biblical: “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” And love, by the way, is the most powerful force on the universe. If you look at what gives people the motivation and inspiration to be great and do powerful things more than any other reason, it’s the power of love. Love of themselves, love of their family, love of their children, love of their country, love of mankind – LOVE. The most powerful force. So how do we connect to that one source? Self-love. Now that’s being spiritual.
Think about it for a moment: would love want you to be poor? Would love want your kids to be poor or to suffer, or be stressed out or have ill health? Of course not! So why do we allow that for ourselves? Make the decision to change it. For yourself first, and then you’re going to change your environment and the world around you. You’ll be helping your kids, your partner…giving them a more fulfilled, joyous and experiential life. Then stay committed to it!
You’re going to have to invest in yourself to be able to put these three keys in place. You simply have to put something in to get something out. For example, you can’t go up to a fireplace and ask it for heat before you give it the log! It just isn’t going to happen! You have to put the log in first to get the heat out.
The best investment you can ever make is in your own personal development. Because when you develop yourself to be a better person, a more educated person, a more abundant person, you’re going to spread that abundance, joy and happiness to everyone around you. When you have wealth in your life, you show other people that they too can be wealthy and better than that you can show them how to do it because you’ve already done it. When you’re a person that achieves grand dream goals in life, you can inspire others to do it and show them how they can do it. Look at the word investment: it’s right there in the word: Investment = “I invest in me.”
Develop yourself to being a better person now: a more successful person, a more wealthy person. Isn’t now the right time to make your life the very best it can be? Remember, I’m here not to teach you content but to help you facilitate real lasting change in your life.

Is there someone in your life that knows exactly how to get under your skin and push your buttons? Everybody has someone like that in their life, right?
The reason I know that everyone has a button pusher in their life is because one of them is the same for all of us– Mum! Why is Mum by far is the number one button pusher? Well, mum created all of your buttons so she knows where they are, and spiritually it’s her job to push them.
The way that you get rid of all the button pushers in your life is through perception. When you shift your perception about what a button pusher is, you‘ll change your whole concept of who they are and why, in fact, it’s great to have them in your life. So no, this isn’t about getting rid of Mum! In reality, your button pushers are your spiritual guides. They’re the people who are here to show you where you still need to evolve.
When you work that area of your life that’s bothering you, once that button gets pushed again it won’t bother you anymore because it’s just not an issue for you anymore! So all that the button pushers are doing is pointing out where the flaw is – the weak spot in your armor, and you should be grateful for that because if they hadn’t have pointed it out we probably wouldn’t have even realized we had a weak spot there! Once we see where the weak spot is, we have the opportunity to work on ourselves.
And most powerful investment you can ever make is in your own personal development. Personal development isn’t about motivation and positive thinking – yes, those are great tools, yet personal development really means to develop your person into being a more evolved, more developed version of yourself. That higher level version of yourself that you become will automatically do things differently than you used to do; think differently than you used to think and produce results differently to what you’ve ever produced. And a lot of those results will be easier because the new version of you will be able to figure out an easier way to do things; easier ways to get through life with less conflict and more joy and fulfillment. And much better results.
There used to be a time in my life when I thought all wealthy people were jerks, because that was the kind of experience I had in my youth with wealthy people. So that helped form my perception of wealth, and wealthy people. Since then, I have met so many grateful, gracious, charitable, giving people who are wealthy and it’s changed my whole perception of them. A law of nature is the Law of Polarity that says everything must have opposite sides to it. You can’t have a good without a bad, a left without a right, a top without a bottom. Everything has opposite sides to it. So this means that yes, there are some wealthy people in life who are not so good, and there’s great people who are wealthy. And by the way, there are lots of not so good people who are poor too! And you don’t tend to hear about those ones in the media because that’s so common that it’s not even a news story! Instead the media loves to talk about the wealthy people who are ripping people off or are greedy because that’s drama and people love their drama. The news isn’t real, it’s only an interpreted perception of part of a story, and it’s been sensationalized because people love their drama and it get’s people watching the news. Note: If you’re always watching the news, your life will become dramatic like the news!
So if you change your perception, you’ll change your reality of the world and the way you participate in it. So with wealth, I used to also think that they pushed my buttons because I thought they had a life I didn’t have and “it’s easy for them” and “I have to work and you don’t” and “who do you think you are!”
And guess what? I also used to think that wealth was hard to create. And the good wealthy people used to tell me that wealth is a mindset. When I heard that I first thought, “Wealth is a mindset? That’s easy for you to say, you’ve got money! Of course you can think that way!” They told me, “No, once you change the way you’re thinking – change your perception, you’ll change your reality and you’ll start becoming wealthy.” When I did that I found out they were right. Wealth is easy to create. And also the button pushers in my life were all simply pushing my buttons in an area that I needed to develop myself in. As we all do.
That’s what happens for all of us. And that’s why Mum’s the number one button pusher because spiritually that’s her job. Remember she gave birth to you and she wants you to have the best life! So it’s her job to help you become the best person you can be, and that you have the best life possible. The only way you can have the best life possible is to keep evolving yourself. The natural order of the universe is for everything to seek to reach it’s highest potential – to evolve.
Charles Darwin said it’s not the strongest of species that survive, nor the most intelligent. It’s the one’s that are most able to adapt. Which is to evolve. So everything in the universe is seeking to express it’s growth, it’s evolution. Growth is always happening.
We need to start looking at those button pushers as our spiritual guides. Instead of getting angry, we get grateful and thank them. Thank you for showing me where I need to evolve. First they’re probably going to stop trying to push the button because they’re going to realize maybe they’re not getting the results out of you. Maybe they were trying to wind you up or get you to feel bad! But when you don’t and instead you get grateful and you thank them for it.
Look at your button pushers in a different way. Change your perception. Think to yourself, “Thanks for pointing that out to me!” and then go work on that area. Like I said, once you work on that area in your life where that button gets pushed, you’ll get stronger in that area and the button will no longer work.

Have you heard these two words before? And once you hear what they are and then put them into action, you’ll by far enhance the level of joy and fulfillment in your life for yourself, your family, your kids, your partner…in fact everybody on the planet.
Now before you hear what the two words are, I’m here to let you know that it is true that just one person can change the world. And why can’t that person be you? Or me? It has to start somewhere, right? Somebody has to start the change.
And if you’re looking at the world right now saying man, what a terrible place. The terrorism that’s going on, the crime, the gangs, the way people are treating each other, the governments out of control… Whatever it is that you’re focusing on right now that’s happening in the world, you have two choices. You can either accept it and be victim to it, or you can make change.
If you’re thinking poor little me, I can’t do it… well then who is the person to do it? If it’s not you and if it’s not me, then who?
The truth is that if you’re not part of the solution, then you’re part of the problem. If we’re not helping it get better then by default, we’re helping it get worse because we’re not doing anything to make a change.
So let’s get to these two words; these two terms that get thrown around a lot. And when you really understand what they mean, they’re life transforming because when you put them into action it’s going to change what you can do, how you’re going to do it, how you treat people and certainly how you treat yourself.
The two words are: abundance and scarcity.
First, let’s look at scarcity. Scarcity is like saying God’s finished his job a long time ago and there’s no more creation happening, so now we have a limited amount of whatever we want on the planet and we have to scratch and find our way to get to that. And if we do have it, then that means that somebody else is going to have to go without it.
The terminology that goes along with scarcity is, “I would like to have this OR that.”
The abundant mentality says that creation is always happening. If you understand science or listen to the news you’ll constantly hear about new stars and planets being formed, new animal and plant species being discovered and created, new babies being born, etc. Even our bodies are creating new cells all the time, every second of the day in fact. Creation is always happening. And the universe not only keeps replenishing but it keeps expanding. Because the natural order of the universe is for everything in the universe to seek to reach it’s highest potential. Which means to evolve.
Here’s an example. One apple seed has produced every apple that’s ever been, and ever will be on the planet. That one doesn’t just create an apple. It creates an apple tree. If you cut open the apple seed, there’s no bark in there, or tree, or seeds or apples. There’s an intelligence in there that knows what its purpose is – to expand. Just like everything else in the universe. So once that first seed is planted it creates an apple tree. And from that apple tree, hundreds of apples are produced. And each one of those fruits has numerous seeds. So literally one apple seed creates an apple tree, multiple apple trees, an orchard, multiple orchards, and so on. All starting with just one apple seed.
So everything in the universe is working on expressing its evolution, and it’s happening all the time. More is always being created. So when we have an abundant mind, instead of saying “I want this OR that” you start to say, “I want this AND that.”
Marianne Williamson, in her book A Return to Love, says:
Playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
Going for a life that’s abundant is where you have all the experiences that you want to have. And yes that includes wealth.
Wealth is probably one of the areas that most people on the planet are more scarce about than any other subject. When the topic of having money comes up a lot of people say, “I don’t want to be rich, I just want to be spiritual.” Well, being rich can actually help you to be more spiritual! Being spiritual means that you’re working on yourself on all levels – mind, body and spirit. And it takes wealth to be able to do that at the highest level.
For example with the mind, that might take investing in education or travelling. In fact the experience of travelling and meeting other people and cultures can be some of the best education you can get.
Now you might be thinking, I don’t need wealth to travel! Well, the scarcity mind says, “I can backpack or go economy to get there”. Yes that’s true, and yet the backpacker level only has that one choice – to do it economy. The wealthier person has more choices about which way to travel: first class, business class, economy, backpacking, hitchhiking…there’s just more choices. And with more choices comes more freedom. And when you feel free, you pass that onto others.
When you have a joyous life, that is happiness at the highest of levels, the joy simply continues to expand. You see, everything in the universe needs to evolve. And if you’re not evolving you’re dissolving. If you’re not growing, you’re decaying. If you’re not getting better, you’re getting worse. If you’re not getting healthier, you’re getting sicker.
This is why we need to create real wealth, and have an abundant mind. Because if you keep playing small and you don’t have abundance in your life, what are you showing other people that they can have? What are you teaching them? Are you going to be a poor person teaching somebody else about how to get a wealthy life? Why would anybody believe you, if you don’t have it first?
It’s the same with having an awesome relationship. What’s wrong with wanting the most amazing relationship with a partner possible? And if you’re going to tell me that that’s not possible and that I’m dreaming, well that’s the scarcity mentality operating again. Here’s a question for you: if you want abundance in your life, how’s that going to happen if a scarcity mentality keeps occupying your mind?
Remember that the formula for all creation is that Thoughts that get turned into Action produces the correlating Results. And it all starts with the way that we consistently think. So, to have an abundant mind we have to train our mind that even when the appearance of everything around us seems like what we don’t want, we have to see what we do want. That’s the abundant mind.
The abundant mind is that even when you’re surrounded by poverty you have to see wealth. Even when you’re surrounded by sickness and disease, you see health and fitness. When you’re surrounded by misery and pain, you still have to see happiness. When you can keep focusing on those things, you’ll act that way, and then you’ll produce the different results.
If you want to change the world, well, somebody has to start. The first thing we have to do is to start seeing the change in our mind. We have to have an abundant mentality that says, “It can change, and it can get better.” Then the first action we have to take is to make our own life better and more abundant. Because that’s the only way it’s going to change.
Remember that all terrorism, crime and gangs are all based on poverty and scarcity. People are down and out and in pain, so the leaders of these groups start luring in those pained people, promising them a better life; a way out of their current circumstance. They start using that kind of language and they might then pay people to do inappropriate things. Then people do the inappropriate things because they‘re attracted to a wealthier, better life. But if we taught those people how to be truly wealthy, and not just with money but wealthy in all areas of their life, imagine how we could change the world. And yes, being holistically wealthy does include financial wealth. Poverty sucks. It’s painful and I’ve been there. It’s not glamorous and it’s certainly not spiritual.
Wayne Dyer came up to me one day way back in the early 90’s, to congratulate me on my speaking. He’d heard something about my scarcity mentality because I was broadcasting that I didn’t want to be wealthy and that I just wanted to be spiritual (sound familiar?). He was about to get on stage to speak, and yet here he was talking to me so I said, “Wayne, aren’t you supposed to be on stage?” and he said, “Are they going to start without me? I think I’m going to be ok.”
Then Wayne said, “Kurek, this thing about you not wanting to be wealthy, just spiritual…where did you ever learn that in order to be spiritual you need to be poor? And don’t say the Bible because you’ve never read it and I have!” Well, at that point in my life he was right.
Wayne went on to say, “I know you’re about to say a quote like money is the root of all evil, yet that’s not even the right quote. It’s the love of money – when you get obsessed by it and that’s all your focus is, it’s the love of money that’s the root of all evil. That’s when people are going to do crazy stuff just to get money. Yet they’re going to sacrifice the rest of the goodness, the rest of the abundance of life.”
Wayne then asked me “Do you think I’m spiritual?” to which I replied, “Well, you are Wayne Dyer, yes of course!” Then he said, “I have eight kids, twenty-five best-sellers. Do you think I create wealth?” “I guess you do.” I replied. “And am I a good person?” he asked. “Absolutely!” I said.
My point to the story was that Wayne Dyer started to show me new references for what wealth can be and what it should be, and that it’s available for all of us. And that very moment started to open up my abundant way of thinking.
Abundance and scarcity. Take a look at the two words:
Scarcity – SCAR-CITY. You don’t want to live there!
Abundance – A-BUN-DANCE. Happier right?!
One is way funner. And when you operate from a place of abundance not only do you make your life better, more fulfilling, have more experiences, more joy, and more happiness, you spread that happiness, that joy, and that fulfillment to everyone that you’re in contact with in the world. Everybody. Just by your presence. Your partner, your kids, your family, your friends, your community, your country…the world.
So the only way to make the world happy, healthy, wealthy and successful is for you to be happy, healthy, wealthy and successful first.
That’s why we’ve developed the Roadmap to Rich Live event because it’ll by far be the most powerful workshop you’ll ever attend. I want to start helping you to look at this area of your life because it’s an area that needs to be worked on. The number one reason people are stressed out are money issues. The number one reason people break up is money issues. And stress is the number one killer on the planet. It can kill your body, your relationship, your dreams, and your goals. And remember, the number one reason people are stressed out is money issues. That’s why this is an area that needs to be worked on.
